I have a tash

Hello, this is Roger again. I am very excited because I now have a tash. Bald Boss says that means I’m growing up. I’m not sure if all tashs are found in the same place, but mine sits on top of my nose. Bald Boss says it looks like an octopus that has fallen out of a tree. I don’t know what an octopus is, but I think it must be a bird because birds live in trees, don’t they? When I was young, I didn’t have a tash. Look at this photo of me when I was young and I didn’t have a tash.
See, I didn’t have a tash when I was young. But now I do because I’m not as young as I was when I was young, and when I was young I didn’t have a tash because I think only dogs that aren’t young can have tashs. Does that make sense? Oh dear, life can be so confusing! ‘Tash’ is confusing too. Little Boss told me tash is short for ‘moustache.’ He says a lot of words are shorter than when they are longer. Like, he told me about ‘barbie’ which is short for ‘barbeque.’ A barbie is something the magpies sit on when they come to visit us for dinner.
Little Boss also eats ‘sangas’, which is a short word for ‘sandwiches.’ And he says when he his older he might go to ‘uni’, which is short for ‘university.’ I wonder if he will have a tash by then? He doesn’t have one now because he’s too young, although he’s not as young as he was when he was younger. I must be older than him because he doesn’t have a tash, and I do have a tash. Little Boss is eleven years old, and I am nearly one year old. I think Little Boss will look very handsome when he grows up to be as old as I am now.
I’m tired.
I need a sleep.
Wags from afar,
Roger.
