A burnt ball on a still evening

This picture was taken in the Chaco region of the landlocked South American country, Paraguay, in 2007. El Chaco is a remote and sparsely populated rural area that is home to many Indigenous peoples and communities of Mennonites.
Perhaps you can research the tribes, and/or the Mennonites whose background might surprise you. Why? Well, that is up to you to find out, but here’s a snippet of curious information for you: Spanish and the Indigenous language, Guarani, are the national languages of Paraguay, but the Mennonites speak a form of German. Go on, do some research…it’s an interesting story.
When my wife and I travelled through the area, sections of El Chaco were being cleared by burning for farming. The sky in the photo is tinged by smoke which also stains the light of the setting sun. Do you have a favourite sunset? Or how about this for a question: If you could watch a sunset at any location in the world, where would you choose? Perhaps you could tell a story about it?
